The shop has new art work for sale, on consignment. William King, of Gorham, ME has brought us many prints and some original works. King works in acrylics and watercolors depicting wildlife and Maine scenes. His style is realism focusing on dynamic lighting.

Current work at the Abbott Museum includes finishing the Lancaster Reading Room. Wallpaper from the Waverly company in a deep red tone has been chosen. A floor to ceiling bookcase will be built in by Vince Brown.

Museum and shop hours are currently Wednesday through Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 4:00. Expanded hours will begin soon. For information call 924-5721.
