A corner cabinet from Eldridge Brothers, once a woodworking business in Dexter, has been placed in the kitchen area. It features a display of china, including Mulberry pieces from the Barton family and a green and white set from the Jose family.

The Fire Department area has seen the addition of a hand colored print depicting a fireman saving a woman. Turn of the century beehives and a decapping station have been added to the barn area, that houses agricultural and logging items.

In the main room a photo exhibit from the 1956 Signet has been installed, to honor that high school class on its 50th anniversary.

Work continues at the Abbott Museum. Cabinets and counters have been installed in the staff room thanks to the donation from the IOOF. The gallery rooms downstairs have been insulated, with ceiling tiles and sheet rock up in two rooms. This work is made possible in part by a Historical Facilities Grant from the New Century Program and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.

The museums are open Monday to Friday from 10 – 4, Saturday 1 – 4. Longer hours will be observed during Wild West Weekend.
