Mary Ann Beals lived in the #10 District with her brother Ben (Bubby) Beals. She was a talented woman; besides doing all the household chores, she worked in the barn. She is shown here driving a team to town in her later years. Her brother Ben was a defining character in Dexter and was frequently seen walking Dexter's Main Street, always carrying a mysterious satchel that never left his side.
